Local History Gallery

The Local History Gallery has five sections devoted to various aspects of the history of the Jervis Bay area, including the early days of settlement when shipbuilding at Huskisson became the first major industry, local maritime history as shown in the Shipping and Shipwrecks section, the Koori Coast which tells the story of the Shoalhaven Aboriginal people, and Grand Visions which features the largely untold story of proposed developments of the Bay's foreshores.
